The Giant Sized is an incredibly cool and ambitious format, standing half a metre high - truly majestic to behold. The panoramic scale of it is thrilling, but you can also make out some of my faint pencil and scalpel lines as with an Artist's Edition. It's very immersive.

I originally made it as a one-off, but readers went nuts for it online and at comic cons and requested the whole trilogy at giant size. It's quite complicated and expensive to print, being 248% times the area of a regular US comic, but once you flick through it it's truly transformative - perfect for the detailed, widescreen cyberpunk art I'm making at the moment. It's like watching IMAX cinema after a life of viewing phone screens!
As you may know these days I hand draw everything on paper in pencil, ink, copics, acrylic paint and airbrush. It's a lot more fun and looks cooler too, rendered in icy black and white with flashes of cyber blue. There's a clear Moebius and Akira influence but Chrome Roses has it's own anarchic personality too.
